World Of Outlaws Return To Bakersfield Speedway After 10-Year Hiatus; Tickets On Sale NOW
PETERSEN MEDIA- After a 10-year hiatus from the Bakersfield Speedway, Promoter Scott Schweitzer is pleased to announce that the World of Outlaws will make their long awaited return to the speedway on Friday April 15th for the Budweiser Bash, and tickets for the event went on sale this morning at 7am PST.
Opening it’s doors in 1946, the Bakersfield Speedway will be in it’s 71st year of operation when the season goes green on March 5th, and everyone associated with the track is thrilled to have ‘The Greatest Show On Dirt” make their triumphant return to the speedway this Spring during the Budweiser Bash.
Back in 2005, Elk River, MN pilot, Craig Dollansky stood in victory lane at the 1/3 mile high banked oval, and when the series takes to the surface in April the biggest names in Sprint Car racing will be on hand including the likes Donny Schatz, Shane Stewart, Brad Sweet, Daryn Pittman, Logan Schuchart, Jacob Allen, Paul McMahan, Joey Saldana, and a host of others from across the United States.
Tickets for the Budweiser Bash went go on sale this morning at 7am PST, and fans can purchase their $40 reserved seating seats by calling 1-844-Dirt-Tix (347-8849). General Admission Tickets will be available for $35 while Kids 12-Under will be admitted for just $15.
Those wishing to camp out at the Bakersfield Speedway will be able to do so at no cost, and spots are available on a first come-first serve basis.
On April 15th, the World Of Outlaws Sprint Cars will make their return to the Bakersfield Speedway and the IMCA Modifieds, as well as the IMCA Stock Cars will join them for what should be a great night of racing.
