Pounds tops IMCA Modifieds again at Bakersfield Speedway

Brad Pounds raced to his second IMCA Modified victory of the year Saturday night at Bakersfield Speedway. Pounds, who started sixth, took the lead 10 laps into the 30-lap feature and finished 1.2 seconds ahead of Robby Sawyer on the third-mile clay oval. Pounds joins Ethan Dotson as the second repeat winner this season.   Dotson was third, followed by Bret Bennett and Rob Sanders. Gardner sprints to win at Bakersfield Speedway

Damion Gardner of Concord showed the fans at Bakersfield Speedway on Saturday night why he is a five-time USAC/CRA Sprint Car champion. Gardner took the lead from Condo Williams on the 14th lap and led the rest of the way to win the 30-lap feature at Bakersfield Speedway. Dotson tops IMCA Modified field Saturday night

Steven Johnson raced to an IMCA Stock Car victory on Saturday night at Bakersfield Speedway. Johnson, last year’s champion, bounced back from last place finish in the first race of the season. Noland Jr. takes Hobby Stock race at Bakersfield Speedway

Raymond Noland Jr. took the lead on the 18th lap and raced to victory in the 25-lap Hobby Stock feature on Saturday night at Bakersfield Speedway. Hill gets first win of 2017 in Hobby Stock

There was no catching Mike Hill Jr. on Saturday night at Bakersfield Speedway. Hill took the lead early in the 25-lap Hobby Stock feature and pulled out to a huge lead before late-race cautions reeled him back.
