RONNIE GARDNER LEADS USAC WESTERN STATES MIDGETS TO BAKERSFIELD

SEPTEMBER 27, 2017… This Saturday, September 30th, the cars and stars of the Light Up The World Beverages USAC Western States Midget Series will return to Bakersfield Speedway. Promoted by Scott Schweitzer, the action packed card will also showcase Hobby Stocks, American Stocks, Mini Stocks, and NMRA TQ Midgets. RACING FOR WISHES VII SET FOR SEPTEMBER 16th AT BAKERSFIELD SPEEDWAY

For the seventh year, Racing for Wishes will compete at Bakersfield Speedway with dirt track action for a great cause. September 16th will see $1500 on the line for the IMCA Modifieds and fundraising for the Make-A-Wish Central California. 2017 Bud Nationals reserved pit stalls

Reserved parking stalls for the 2017 Budweiser Nationals will go on sale Tuesday September 5th. Reserved pit stalls are $25 per stall and are limited to race cars only, NO PERSONALLY VEHICLES ALLOWED IN THE PITS FOR THE NATIONALS. To reserve your stall please call Deanna Macht at 661-549-1148. Thornton wins Pro Stock battle at Bakersfield Speedway

Brody Schweitzer gets his first Speedway victory this season

Brody Schweitzer sat out the last seven American Stock races waiting on a motor. The motor was in the car on Saturday night and Schweitzer went on to his first victory of the season in a 20-lap race on the third-mile clay oval at Bakersfield Speedway.
