McKellar captures first SportMod victory of 2016

                          Chris McKellar of Bakersfield picked the perfect weekend to win his first IMCA Northern SportMod main event Saturday night at the Bakersfield Speedway. Hosting the annual Make A Wish night, the very competitive class was racing for a $1000 winner’s check. Cody Laney drives to another IMCA Modified win

                          The dust stirred up by the IMCA Modifieds flying around Bakersfield Speedway’s third-mile clay oval track during the division’s 25-lap feature as the fans witnessed a tremendous multi-car battle for the checkered flag on Saturday night. Heckman tops strong field of IMCA Modifieds at Speedway

                        Kyle Heckman could take his car high or he could run it low. It didn’t matter.
