FINAL POINTS RUNS START THIS SATURDAY NIGHT SEPTEMBER 14th

SPEEDWAY MEDIA- With a two-week break in the action in the books, the racing ramps up for the final sprint to the Budweiser Points Series Championship beginning this Saturday night September 14th. The Western Race Saver Winged Sprints roll into town for their last appearance of 2019 and headline the racing action at the Bakersfield Speedway. Grant Champlin of Hanford, CA holds the current points lead by four points over Michael Pombo of Easton, CA. Brooklyn Holland of Fresno, CA is standing firm in third. With only one more event after their Bakersfield appearance, a good finish this weekend is a must for every racer in the points hunt.

Drivers of the Motor City GMC IMCA SportMods will also buckle in for another fast-paced night of racing. With only a couple events left in the 2019 season the racing action is sure not to disappoint. Bang Energy American Stocks, Slingin Dirt Wear Mod Lites, NMRA ¾ Midgets and the RealFast.tv Mini Dwarfs finish out a busy night of racing Saturday night. Gates swing open at 5:00pm to kick of over 300 scheduled laps of dirt track racing action for the entire family. Show up early to grab your favorite seat.

Tickets for the Bakersfield Speedway are available at the front gates when they open to spectators at 5:00pm this Saturday night with Racing getting underway at 7:00pm. Adult admission just $14.00, Senior/Military $12.00, Kids 6-12 $7.00 with 5 and under admitted free. Parking and camping are always free at the Bakersfield Speedway.
