BAKERSFIELD SPEEDWAY ANNOUNCES 2024 EVENT SCHEDULE AND MORE
Bakersfield, CA. (1/12/2024) Continuing the grassroot dirt track racing foundations of previous successful seasons, Bakersfield Speedway excitedly announces the 2024 season schedule with twenty-one events throughout the year of Bakersfield California’s family Saturday night gathering fun spot.
Spanning from early March until late November, the one-third-mile high banked clay oval will see an open practice kickstart the season on Saturday, March 2nd before beginning the competitional year once again with the Budweiser Points Season on March 9th featuring IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, Hobby Stocks, American Stocks and IMCA Stock Cars divisions.
Returning in 2024 with much fanfare and eager anticipation, the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Cars will once again blast back to the Bakersfield Speedway on September 13th. Tickets are already on sale for this action-packed night at www.bakersfieldspeedway.com
Other highlighted racing events included in the 2024 schedule include the NOS Energy Drink USAC National Midgets November 26th, the USCS Sprint Car Series April 20th & May 18th, USAC Western States Midget Series March 23rd & September 7th and the IMCA California Clash May 4th.
The Richie McGowan Memorial will once again be held along with the very popular Fireworks Extravaganza June 28th and the Mike Moshier Classic on August 17th.

Weekly racing divisions will continue to include IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, American Stocks, Mini Stocks and Hard Tops with several marquee events spanning the nine-month season of racing entertainment. Special event classes including CA Lightning Sprints, NMRA Midgets, Western Racing Midget Series, Dwarf Cars and West Coast Compacts will also be in action in 2024.
